I predict that this fight will be a very tactical fight, if Floyd get reckless he'll get put down on his butt. If Manny keep jumping in to get his shot, he'll get countered. This fight will be a boring fight for those who are looking for a Gatti/Ward kinda fight. But for some who really love the sweet science, we will see a very tactical fight. Yes, every now and then there'll be exchanges of punches, but don't be surprise if you guys see a lot of holding and circling around. I'm a huge Manny fan and other great warriors, but I see this fight on May's favor if he fight a safe fight. Only way Manny wins this fight is if he cut the ring effectively, and fight a perfect fight. To secure the bout in his favour, he have to put May on his back on the canvas three or more times which is unlikely. I can't waith to see how both camps prepare for this fight come May2nd.
If this fight becomes a tactical fight then pac already lost. Pac is to ****** fight a tactical fight

I predicted Marquez to knock out pacquiao. So don't ever doubt me. This should be an easy fight for Floyd. If it were four years ago it would be tougher, but PAC has no shot. He will not hurt Floyd, Floyd has an iron chin.
Don't be surprise when you see a counter straight left down the kisser from Manny.

Manny is as awkward as they come, and is more tenacious than 90 percent of fighters on his worst day. Not too mention Manny's speed will be something May hasn't had to deal with in years, about a decade. 5 years ago I would say May coasts for the easy decision.

In order to beat Manny--you have to fight him. Although I had Marquez winning fights one and three (narrowly). I knew he couldn't beat Manny unless he hung in there and fought him. Counter punching isnt enough. Manny is not easily discouraged. I think Manny (even with a more thought form of attack) is too much for May. The judges won't give him the decision.

Marquez shouldn't even be part of this conversation. Marquez was adjusting to the weight, lost speed, jumped up two weight classes, and May came in over weight. Roger should be ashamed. He's never been much of a boxing mind anyway. He did lose his job afterall

Like so many great upsets in the history of this sport, this will definitely be one for the books. Yes, Floyd is a talented, brilliant boxer, but so is Manny. And hell, Floyd has never ever faced before someone no less than a freak of nature that is Pacquiao. You can argue the same thing about Manny, but while Floyd has been into battles, Manny has been into wars. The moment Floyd say yes to this fight he will be in deep ****. And Floyd's camp knows it very well. While most people say he will cruise easily past against Manny, Floyd's body language tells something different. Yes folks, make no mistake about it. The self-proclaimed TBE himself saw something in Manny most people cannot.

I have never bet a single $ in my entire life, but If ever this fight come into fruition, I'll do so with my entire month of earnings going for the Pacman.

Some good point made on this thread: Its certainly true that bigger guys who could physically rough Floyd up gave him problems as compared to fast power punching smaller guys....If we look at the Hatton fight versus the Madianna fight for example.

But father time is operational here. Floyd has lost a step, has Manny? The biggest hurdle for Manny is that he has to take risks and physically attack Floyd to land shots. Otherwise he gets potshotted....and Floyd is not KOing anyone here, he is not Marquez!

manny has real power and can hurt Floyd clean if he has the capacity to still be fleet of foot.

I think the person who wins this fight depends on the fight strategy almost entirely. If Manny is willig to risk getting stretched to get to Floyd he can win, or he will get owned. There is no way that Manny can stay on the periphery of Floyd and settle in, his jab is not good enough to do this and he doesn't have the size or reach to do this.

If Floyd keeps Manny at a distance he wins easy.

If you want Manny to struggle, you BOX him, take him out of his game plan. Mayweathers a BOXER. Plus, Pac's defense is not really that good to be honest with you. He's been able to eat punches though and get away with it because he's been fighting lesser opponents, but against Mayweather he'll have to work extra hard to do his midrange work.
Uh, yes. The boxing part is a given. May looked like **** when Maidana pressed the action. Cotto was a little too conventional when he pressed Floyd. But, was also effective at times.

all pacquiao has to do is start fast and land on floyd early, then he can beat the sht outta him down the stretch at a more tempered pace

I don't think PAC will allow Floyd to make him look ****** I have a feeling if he loses he wants to go out on his shield.
When did you see Manny quit? When did Manny get dominated by someone? He got KTFO yes, but I never seen him quit. I'm wondering though, what if the opposite of what you posted happens? What if Manny is the one hurting May round after round? Would he quit like his Uncle "the piper" Roger did? I know it unlikely, but what do you think? SMDH.
