actually it does make a lot sense with riza working with floyd now. no wonder why roger is so confidence. lets just hope alex doesnt put the wrong stuff in floyd's shake like he did with rios.

I think Manny's work rate will dazzle the judges. Also, May's last fights against Cotto, and two against Maidana has made him look very beatable. I think Maidana out hustled May in the first fight. Maidana's awkwardness and tenacity perplexed and befuddled May. Manny is as awkward as they come, and is more tenacious than 90 percent of fighters on his worst day. Not too mention Manny's speed will be something May hasn't had to deal with in years, about a decade. 5 years ago I would say May coasts for the easy decision.

In order to beat Manny--you have to fight him. Although I had Marquez winning fights one and three (narrowly). I knew he couldn't beat Manny unless he hung in there and fought him. Counter punching isnt enough. Manny is not easily discouraged. I think Manny (even with a more thought form of attack) is too much for May. The judges won't give him the decision.

Marquez shouldn't even be part of this conversation. Marquez was adjusting to the weight, lost speed, jumped up two weight classes, and May came in over weight. Roger should be ashamed. He's never been much of a boxing mind anyway. He did lose his job afterall

Well, no. In order to beat Pac you have to BOX him, not FIGHT him. Manny wants you to brawl. That's Mannys fight and you don't fight your opponents fight. If you want Manny to struggle, you BOX him, take him out of his game plan. Mayweathers a BOXER. Plus, Pac's defense is not really that good to be honest with you. He's been able to eat punches though and get away with it because he's been fighting lesser opponents, but against Mayweather he'll have to work extra hard to do his midrange work.

I think the script for this fight is fairly certain:

-- Floyd avoids most of Manny's punches while landing the right hand
-- By mid rounds it's clear Floyd will win on points
-- Manny forced to go for the KO
-- Remember the last time Manny did that? KTFO
-- Floyd wins by UD or even KO

Manny has no way to win this fight other than HURTING Floyd physically. Good luck with that.

I think most exchanges will go like this:

Floyd scores with a jab or two.
Manny gets past Floyd's jab using or then proceeds to start his right-left-left or right-left-right combo.
Floyd clamps down on Manny's arm.
Manny stares blankly at the ref.
Ref seperates them.
Rinse.
Repeat.

This is going to be most of the fight and people are gonna be so disappointed and mad. That Tasmanian devil killer Pac is gone, that pull countering Floyd is gone. The whole event is sure to be a $99.99 letdown imo.

Why is anyone supprised , its the same as Roach "Going to knock out Alegeri in 3 rounds" mantra , they are hyping their fighter and hyping the fight like its going to be a war , we all know Floyd doesnt go to war , he wins the match but rarely goes to war where he can be hurt and lose.

THIS^^^^^^ I don't get it when a lot of people here keep saying it's an easy fight for the both of them, that May will KO Manny or walk him down, or Manny will be too fast and it'll be too easy for Manny to win.

I predict that this fight will be a very tactical fight, if Floyd get reckless he'll get put down on his butt. If Manny keep jumping in to get his shot, he'll get countered. This fight will be a boring fight for those who are looking for a Gatti/Ward kinda fight. But for some who really love the sweet science, we will see a very tactical fight. Yes, every now and then there'll be exchanges of punches, but don't be surprise if you guys see a lot of holding and circling around. I'm a huge Manny fan and other great warriors, but I see this fight on May's favor if he fight a safe fight. Only way Manny wins this fight is if he cut the ring effectively, and fight a perfect fight. To secure the bout in his favour, he have to put May on his back on the canvas three or more times which is unlikely. I can't waith to see how both camps prepare for this fight come May2nd.

just in terms of good vs evil you have Hard Work & Dedication vs Short cut (drugs). "hard work & dedication" wins everytime. The "right way" to go about sports vs "the cheating way" everyone should be rooting for right to wins. So Uncle Roger is probably right, Manny recieves a Gatti style beatdown, and manny is not called "sweet dreams" for nothing LOL
