Pure ignorance. This is the only CHAMPIONSHIP boxing needs. No fees, and a true history dating back to the 1900s. You ratherkeep being plagued by the garbage abc trinkets.

Can't they wait another two years before stripping him? I mean give the man a chance ...I say give him two more years of inactivity then a couple of warm up fights against nobodies for a minimum of two million dollars each so some time around 2019 he can then fight somebody half decent for the ring title.

Precisely. That's why it's no big deal that he is 'stripped' af a magazine title. It had to happen due to inactivity.

Ring magazine titles are not the same as the lineal title. Far from actually.

Can't argue with that. Spent too much time out of the ring to be relevant.

great news. holding those belts hostage like that is criminal.

maybe a little insight as to how negotiations go for team ward .... "fight where? is that near oakland? oh nah, God bless" or some variant of that phrase.

Good. Dude hasn't fought in forever. As a matter of fact he doesn't even have a fight lined up.

I guess it's the right move considerring his inactivity. Hopefully he comes back strong in the not too distant future. Ward is good for the sport, there are some decent matchups for him at or around his division.
