Golovkin defense is not that good. He has good chin to absorb punches. A power puncher with counter punching skills can beat him.

GGG can be defensively responsible when needed. When he fought Curtis Stevens, he took his time and broke Stevens down; waiting several rounds before Stevens corner mercifully stopped the fight. GGG is willing to take a punch to give one, but with better fighters, I think he's smart enough to use better defrense.

Exceptional speed or Observable Power. I. E. Khan's hand speed or Choco's power.
Maybe a thud-hitter like Margarito would cut GGG up.
