  • BTW..........a good jab is the primary reason that of all the WW I have witnessed, Tommy Hearns would be most likely to beat Floyd. He had all the weapons to give Floyd problems including the possibly the hardest and fastest straight right hand I have seen at WW. And a VERY underestimated left hook.....

Just my opinion........but without the 'killer instince' of Leonard or Hagler, Floyd would have a hard time beating Hearns........or many others from the 80's for that matter including Leonard, Duran, Curry, Benitez, etc.

In the record books, yes. But I'm not the only person who believes at best, Manny should be 0-3-1 vs Marquez.......

Pac was the 'house fighter' then......and he probably will be against Floyd as far as who gets cheers when they do nothing.

I would hate to see him beat Floyd with weak flurries the same way Leonard stold the fight from Hagler. Hagler won that fight. Just like Marquez beat Manny more than once. And MOST people who pay attention and listen with no volume and have no bias agree........that Marquez should have at least one more win vs Pac.

But that is a totally different fight.

And while Floyd does his share of holding, he is very good on the inside. If you don't see that, you know nothing about inside fighting..........

Hard to call it a super fight when both fighters have already publically pondered retirement.

listen at this lame fck trying to downplay the fight now that he knows it's close to happening.

Can't beat a fighter like Mayweather with one hand.......if a jab isn't part of his gameplan, he loses.

Doesn't have to be a great jab. He doesn't even have to throw it too often. But he does need to use it to take away one of Mayweather's best strenghts, the ability to control space. Manny throws high volumes of punches. But for them to reach the target, he will have to box a little using the jab enough that eventually he can feint it and get inside without being countered.........

Ah...........what's the use of arguing with Pac fans........to them Floyd is a horrible fighter and 'scared'........even though his last loss was in the Atlanta Olympics and an outright robbery........(ref raised Mayweather's hand he was so sure he'd won).......

In 1996, Manny was also having trouble.......a gut shot from Torrecampo resulting in a KO.....

                • PacmanS going to give Floyd big problems. I think Floyd has done himself a big disfavor fighting slower fighter sense Judah. Pacquiaos speed will seem blinding to Floyd.

You not knowing that Mayweather tried to fight Manny after he beat Cotto but yet claimed Floyd was scared because Manny beat Cotto. I told you Arum wasn't the reason in the first negotiations some posts ago but rather was the testing. Arum has been apart of everything.Floyd only said Pacquiao needs to leave Arum through the media. Everyone is dealing. Before it was testing, then it was 40Mil Pacquiao didn't want and now they're negotiating. Floyd didn't let his dislike for Arum stop the negotiations.
Yeah, keep believing that he wanted to fight him all along. I don't expect you to admit his excuses so I'll stop now. It wasn't a claim that he's scared of Manny, he said it himself on that video. Sometimes you have to read between the lines if you want to know the truth. I didn't say I didnt know that Floyd wanted to fight Manny right after he beat Cotto, I wasnt sure the exact occurrence that's why I said I stand corrected.

Now you're reading Freddie's thoughts? You're something else. There's a real reason why Floyd is hesitant to fight him, and we will know whenever this gets made. I can't wait, tomorrow is damn too long to wait.
