you just explained it in your post.

Dilute - To decrease the value of by increasing the total number
Assumes lower quality. If you put on more quality you don't dilute the product.

        LOL
You sure they have the same rating system for pay cable as they do cable and broadcast TV?

This year is six weeks old, premature ejaculator. Besides, we're talking Haymon not Showtime. Stop avoiding my question.

            true.

but are the quality guys gonna fight more times a year? fight top comp more?

if they do, then i'll reverse my opinion.

but if he's spreading out EQUAL quantity/quality of fighters over multiple networks.

then he's diluting the quality of cards.

            example:

remember 1st haymon year at showtime?
            it was great.

now spread those fights out to multiple networks and dates.

he'll have to split it up right? replace with lesser names/fights right?

Some salty people in here, man. It's mind boggling that the idea of boxing gaining larger exposure leads people to say it's going to ruin the sport. Because obviously the move to cable sent it to soaring levels.

                i meant last year.

i'm trying to answer your question.

showtime was affected by haymon. the gbp thing and trying to save up fights for his upcoming nbc and other deals.

                think of it as bullets.

haymon has a set amount of bullets. instead of firing 15 at one dude. now he's firing at 2 guys or more. less bullets for each guy.

Right. So Showtime was affected. Which brings us to TODAY. For the third time, please tell me how PBC is going to ruin the sport? Or "dilute" it? Since as it stands TODAY, Showtime and CBS are gaining by this move?

Finally someone told me what kind of business model Haymon has in mind: WWE Net 24/7.
                    Boxing is saved now.

Fair points. But lower quality fighters can put on a really good fight-see ward v gatti. So if the names aren't on but the fight is great what is the problem?

If you put an unrealistic, impossible to achieve standard on this then of course you will be disappointed.

Just remember the best fights are generally between evenly matched fighters. So as long as these programs feature as many fights like this as possible-why would it bea problem.
