I had heard of him before in the news and in the media, but the first fight I saw of his was against Manny Pacquaio earlier this year. It's actually the fight that first turned me into a boxing fan (and no, not because the fight was ultra-exciting or anything, but because I was ****** in by the hype and decided to watch it and as a result became more interested in other boxing matches and whatnot...)

That 96 Olympics was the last great boxing competition....I was 11 years old and never watched amateur boxing closely. when I saw Vargas, WLAD and Mayweather fight I knew they'd be champions
