vs Chicanito was the 1st time i saw him fight. I was in awe of his punching, fast combos and killer instinct. Anything up until 147lbs and i'd watch. i even gave him passes on the Sharmba Mitchells and Brusseles fights because he was heading up to WW and i figured he'd be fighting the way he had been. but to my suprise, nope......Comment

Being from Flint, Michigan I actually heard about Floyd when he was still an amateur....
Had the pleasure of watchin him fight as a 14yr old....He fought some kid from Flint at the old IMA building....He was very poised for someone that age....Believe it or not he even exuded a certain level of maturity & discipline absent from others 6 & 7yrs older....Even though this area was ripe with talented fighters you could tell then that he had something special...Comment
