I watched Floyd in the '96 Atlanta Olympics. I followed him since. I thought he was robbed in the Olympics just like Roy Jones Jr. was. I knew that Floyd would become a great fighter but he became better than I thought. When Floyd was at super featherweight he was a force of nature. It was especially fun watching Floyd beat up Algel Manfredy(I hated Manfredy). All Floyd's dcaf haters would've liked Floyd if they were a legit boxing fan and followed boxing from atleast the early 90's up.

Heard about him a few years back before the De La Hoya fight but I only started watching him when he fought Oscar.

I'm a Filipino and I knew about Mayweather before I know about Pacquiao. Filipinos are pretty huge boxing fans and whenever we would have get-togethers, there was always somebody talking about boxing.

I first heard about mayweather when I was a little kid around the decline of the Roy Jones Era and he was that new kid on the block. I would overhear people talking about how fast he was and how impossible he was to hit and how he could see every punch coming.
