When was I talking about HBO?
Obviously I was only speaking about the topic at hand, Friday Night Fights. Boxing once a month on ESPN isn't cool any way you slice it. Again, many a fighter with no big promotional backing/management made a name for himself on FNF's which opened doors for that fighter. This will now be gone and now limited to Haymon only fighters.

There is still room for a Provodnikov type to make it off ESPN to the big time. But yes, there will not be "diversity".
I actually grew up with a kid who got on an FNF in a walk off bout. Stuff like that will be missed.

Hopefully he also expands the better divisions like 120/126 and Cruiser.
Originally posted by AgainstTheRopes View PostMaybe once a month on ESPN but there will be quite a few on all of Haymon's other platforms.
