Hearns is something like Margarito for me.

It's obvious that a cruiserish Hearns would beat MAnny based on size and weight.

But obviously lb for lb, at welter or so, Hearns can't win, Manny wastes him.

The fab 4 are boxers who are by no means overrated, they were good, but they are not nearly as good as sometimes described.

The TS has done his research. Well done.

    A refreshing and valid assessment

Unfortunately, the delusionists will be onto you pretty quickly. Lucky it's pretty decent match though.

You will find the bummier the boxer they are trying to promote, the more viciously they fight for bummy rights

If Hussein can knock Pac down with a jab (should have been a KO but thanks to the ref who took his own sweet time counting) and Marquez can put him to sleep with a well timed counter, there's no way in hell he could defeat Hearns. Refreshing and a valid assessment? Unfortunately, you are the delusionist. It would be an utter mismatch.

He is also perceived as very easy to hit, which is again very wrong, no he's not very easy to hit, you'll very greatly have to take some in order to get some against him and that is what scared most of his opponent, this usually ends in them just covering up the whole fight.

He is perceived no-defense type of guy because of his more obvious offensive output and they are always imagining holding on in their thoughts to that once upon a time old one-dimensional pacman in his ancient past fights, who just goes all out there and nothing more, which is again wrong, this fully developed matured pacquiao isn't only hard to hit but he got very good defense through his movements, timing and sense of anticipation despite being known more as an offensive guy.

And lastly the most idiotic thing I probably heard, if you got jab, then you got pacquiao. It's not as simple as that, you can't just jab pacuiqao; for idiots, they see this as a weapon, for ATGs they see this as an opportunity--a great opening to deliver their power shots. If you're not a real jabber guy, or a guy who specialized on it, and you're just a poser trying to do it on just that fight alone, then, you'll soon find out, every time you jab, there's a very big chance you'll be at the receiving end of a big big power punch. My guess is you won't like it very much, and then again, you'll end up covering like a shell the whole ****ing fight--a disappointment to the sport and its fans.
This needs to end the thread... Pac never wins in fantasy fights because people already have a preconceived notion that he has no defense. That right their is how I know someone is a boxing newbie.

              Robinson?

              GTFOOH Valero!

I can understand if you feel a WW Hearns could beat Pac based on his dimensions although I would disagree.

But if either Pac or Hearns failed to KO an ancient Robinson, basically a magnet for a punch and very rudimentary skills, they would have been utter rubbish!

its just hard to ignore what thomas hearn would do once he timed you.....id pick him via KO

but manny pac would do better against ray leonard and duran, id say 50/50
