He has the better footowork and can exploit defensive flaws in Hearns.

Better footwork?? maybe you mean faster foot work. one of the reason nobody ever outbox hearn is because he's got really good footwork, he can close the distance and get out of reach with half of step.

and dont use cotto fight as reference cotto is small man, use algieri i believe it was CW at 145. we can see how good pac is againts much taller fighter.

as for my choice, hearn will time pac on the inside and blast him on the outside Hearn K.O pac round 3,4 or 5. if pac wanna win be a brawler and not just a brawler but FOTY brawler. push hearn to the limit in round 1 and 2.

For all Manny's vast attributes I really can't fathom many scenarios where he comes out on top over 147lb Hearns...

Apart from his freakish physical dimensions Tommy matches or exceeds Pac in just about every athletic department associated with boxing as well...Can't see Manny walking thru the fire the way Leonard did either...Ray absorbed crazy punishment to put himself in position to score his 14rd stoppage...

Pac puts up valiant effort but succumbs in the eighth...

I don't think Pacquiao will stop moving for the first 5/6 rounds. His footwork is faster, but the later movement, how he turns fighters and his in and out style will have Hearns hitting thin air.

Look at the short left that put Mosley down, that type of punch will land on Hearns and it will be over for the Hitman.

If Hearns catches Manny with something big then it will be curtains for Pacquiao.

But in this shoot out Pacquiao has the much better chance of avoiding Hearn's bombs than vice versa.

Pryor beat him in the Golden Gloves, but he was much younger then. Still pretty big though.

Hearns would probably approach the fight like he did Duran, and try and bomb Pacquiao out early.

Pacquiao maybe be a warrior but he does not have that ego/machismo of Duran and he can stick to a gameplan.

Pacquiao just got to stay off the ropes, keep circling, turning Hearns, land quick punches then get out of there.

Hearns will be start to slow and be there fore the taking after 6 rounds.
