The man himself is a great person and fighter. The same can't be said for some of his fan base. But the way I see it every great fighter is going to have some obnoxious fans along with haters. It's really a testament to how great that fighter is when you think about it. He'll have fans that believe he can do no wrong and haters that would love to see him brought down. No average fighter can do that for the most part.

I don't hate Pacquaio.

However, I do believe Pacquaio was a drug cheat. I think Margarito is a disgusting person for what he did, yet I don't hate him. I just think he is disgusting. There is no proof that Pac took PED's, so I tend to just leave it at not being able to be a fan of his. If it comes out for sure that he took PED's, I'd think he is disgusting as well. He is a likable person from what I know of him, but he isn't perfect. I'm not concerned with him cheating on his wife or his other personal life situations, but if he was cheating in the ring, that's just about the most disgusting thing a boxer can do with regards to being a boxer (it's easily more vile than cheating at something like the 100 meter dash since you aren't putting someone's life at stake), and since the events that occurred sway me to believe he was juicing (refusing random drug testing, various excuses by his team, refusing to agree to random testing 14 days before the fight during mediation), I will never be a fan of his.

Honestly, I think that is the only legitimate reason to dislike him. Anything else is more directed at his fans.

If Pacquiao was fighting "meaningless" fights and Floyd was fighting meaningful fights, why did manny get fighter of the decade over Floyd? Floyd has fought unworthy fighters as well. No one was begging for a Guerrero or Marquez fight.

EVERY Floyd opponent is the same. Whoever fights their way into the top three of the division automatically gets a shot. He faced JMM coming off a 2 yr layoff and made him look SILLY. Ghost was also the best in the division outside of Pacman

You made a point. Pac got fighter of the decade which is what I was trying to say. He fought no meaningful fights and got worshipped and I dont think thats right. Floyd been fighting all these big ol young guys and got no love for it. Thats bad to me.
