I think it's very difficult to dislike someone like Manny. How can you? He's like a modern day Azumah in terms of personality but even more humble. I love it. It's just his greasy ass promoter and his incredibly obtuse fans that most can't stand.

I feel that boxing reporters pretended that boxing revolved around Floyd and Pac fighting eachother. I personally felt, that if they didnt fight eachother, their were plenty of other fights they could have made. Floyd fought everyone and got destroyed by media, while Pac fought absolutely unimprotant fights and got praised as a savior.

It made me hate Pacman. Its not that I was bias for Floyd I just felt that even though he was ducking Pac, he was still facing top opponents.

I remember they said they didnt want to fight Margarita unless he looked bad against Shane. Shane beat the breaks off of him then he begged Pac for a fight they wouldnt fight him. So Floyd faced him and got destroyed. Pac then has the nerve to face Margarita.

Then it was time for Pac to face Berto, and Arum said he was a small ppv draw, so this dude faces Mosley.

How does losing to Floyd earn you a ppv fight with Pac? They actually put Pacs farce fights on PPV and rob the fans blind. Berto then cherrypicks Ortiz, and loses badly.

Lampley made this comment that no one at ww would face Ortiz. Floyd faces him, then Lampley changes his mind and says, "On second thought, Floyd is only facing him because he doesnt throw any jabs."

Here you have Floyd facing a guy ten yrs younger, and 15lbs heavier than him, and they spent the entire 24/7 overdrive talking about him ducking Pacman.

So as a fan of the sport it made me resent Pacman, and it made me want to stick up for Floyd.

Im not biased for or against either of them. I am able, in one sentence, to talk about Floyd ducking Pac. And in the same sentence talk about Floyd making REAL fights with real opponents, while Pac faces no one. My only issue. Pac has no real resume to me. Only meaningless fights that they put on ppv which is an absurdity to the sport.

If Pacquiao was fighting "meaningless" fights and Floyd was fighting meaningful fights, why did manny get fighter of the decade over Floyd? Floyd has fought unworthy fighters as well. No one was begging for a Guerrero or Marquez fight.

Bro thats what u get when u at the top... Manny and Floyd are both the greatest of this generation and just by the hate they get its easy to see. Nobody hates on nobodies... U got this dude saying Manny only fought meaningless fights... and u got people saying the same sh#t abt Floyd. But when u look at both resume u can see they both ATG and one day people will sh#t on other top fighters and say they were nothing compare to Pac and Floyd.
