And it was partly funny because Larry Frank and Dunn were anointing Broner as the next pound for pound king and next FOTD.

After what Danny did to a killer like "Lightning Rod" Salka and convicingly beating Herrera, you can see why everyone's ducking Danny.
Laugh all you want but Garcia kicked Matthysse's ass

Broner hasn't corrected some of his flaws, he ain't beating Maidana in a rematch.

If by kicked his ass you mean punched his balls then we agree, he literally did that a dozen times and should have been DQ.

Why the **** would he be avoiding a rematch with someone he recently beat the **** out of?

Wouldn't say he's avoiding or ducking Broner, he just fought Floyd twice in 2014 so can't really blame him.

But i will say this, he certainly doesn't seem keen on fighting him again. People will say that's because he whooped him the first fight but that doesn't tell the whole story, Broner finished strong and had always seemed keen on avenging that loss, maybe the two fighters know in their heart it would be different a second time.
