Cotto's team was gonna get back to them on tuesday, canelo's panties got in a twist cuz of his imaginary deadline and walked away. Thats what happened. So how am I "rewriting" anything?
Are they fighting? No? Why? Because Cotto did not sign the contract. These are called facts. Logical reasoning would help one to deduce why the fight is not happening.

Have you ever been in a negotiation? At some point you have to close the deal or walk away. Especially when there have been long ongoing negotiations. This isnt anything new. Both sides of the negotiation are aware of this. It wasnt their first negotiation.

They had ample time to sign and they did not. This is where the adage "actions speak louder than words" would be appropriate.

I'll give u a shot though. Answer me this....

If Arum is lying about Cotto calling off negotiations due to being offended by what Canelo did, how does this benefit Arum? What does Arum gain by lying about what he says Cotto told him and risk future paydays by promoting Cotto?

Arum was set to make a few mil off of this fight. What does he gain by lying? If anything Arum would have lied FOR Cotto and placed blame on Canelo. Don't ya think?

Thats called when you ASS-U-ME... its not good to have basice assumptions. Pretty much all the other boxers are waiting for the may-pac thing for they can start making moves. Canelo is the one hell bent on fighting cinco de mayo weekend. Like cotto cares about cinco de mayo... its fairly simple. Floyd fights pacquiao, would have been cotto-canelo in june in msg... if floyd didn't fight pacquiao, it would be floyd-cotto 2 in may... again who is canelo to give imaginary deadlines?

I bet you ever wish you could go back to being happy like a time before Christmas eve, when you overheard your girl telling her friend on the phone, "Cotto could get it..I love that Boricua swag..."

Women say shyt like that all the time bro. Let it go.

Indeed. Cotto is more concerned with JUNE and the PR parade than to be fixated on a peasant celebration like Cinco De Mamao.

Cotto does not entertain B side deadlines. The Taino God only speaks A side.

Arum is a dirty bastard. He is crafty and trying to align himself with Canelo who has a longer career ahead of him than the aging Cotto. Nobody with an ounce of intelligence, fails to see the intent in Arum's choice of words concerning this issue. He was trying to come for Cotto in that crafty hebe way.
