Comments Thread For: Miguel Cotto Still Looking To Return in May or June

On Tuesday, the legal adviser of WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32KOs), lawyer Gabriel Peñagarícano, said his client is not rushing to finalize his next commitment in the ring.

According to Penagaricano, they currently are in talks with several possible opponents, but refused to reveal any names and refused to make any type of comment on the widespread rumors of a possible rematch being discussed with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

For their part, Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum named both Brandon Rios and Tim Bradley as potential Cotto foes.

At least that would be an action packed fight. I don't think that will happen though. I am thinking maybe Rios and Bradley will be the fight that will happen, but who knows.

So wait...Cotto the supposed 'real' middleweight champion is going to defend his 160 lb title against 1 of 2 dudes who currently fight at 147?..hmmmm....I guess the days when he was willing to challenge himself are long gone! .....OH AND SUPPOSEDLY, Cotto only wanted Big Money fights now!...Gee, since when did BRADLEY (of all people) and Rios become such bonafide PPV attractions?...sounds like Cotto and Penga-whatever-the-****-his-name-is like to take their mofongo with a side of boolsh¡t...
