Wlad and Lewis but no Chavez? Those two are great fighters but come on.

The only possible argument for Pacquiao over Duran is if post-Ali means starting sometime in the 80s.

Nah it's just the greatest fighter from the era immediately after he retired but Duran's full resume obviously still counts. Pacquiao and Duran's careers are looking very very similar right about now. Duran has the better singular win (one of the best in boxing histry vs prime Sugar Ray Leonard) but Pacquiao has gone through more weight divisions and has the biggest number of high quality wins of any boxer since Ali imo.

              @ Hagler.
Jones could do it all in the ring and had it all...people who think Roy was just speed and reflexes dksab

He also fought in over 100+ fights, he had fundamentals he just applied them his own way. Roy could do things no one could do in the ring

Roy had every punch in his repertoire, could land from any angle, was very smart in the ring and could fight going backwards, forward, side to side, mastered all forms of defense....slipped, slide, rolled punches, blocked them with his shoulders

He seemed to think fast and think ahead of opponents

If they were the same size Roy would've embarrassed JCC

Roy had to be 35 and old to lose...JCC couldn't deal with elite speed and defense the best...before 35, look at his fights with Juan laporte, rocky lockridge,
Meldrick Taylor, Pernell Whitaker, Frankie Randall, JCC was older but odlh embarrassed him with speed and accuracy

A prime Roy Jones had no rival, made it look easy and danced a jig while hitting u n the face and making you miss n look silly

I'm sorry, but Duran is much greater than Pacquiao. Pac is one of my all time favorites, but Duran is arguably one of the 10 greatest fighters ever. This poll should be between him and Leonard.

The PAC fans ****d this poll

PAC over Duran? Duran had one loss in his prime 70+ fights, was more dominant, fought fought and beat better fighters, may be the grstest lightweight ever, is arguably top ten all time

PAC over Jones? Could someone please explain why PAC>Jones/Duran

Pacquiao will be thought of as such after he's done. Take a look at his record for god's sake! 6-2-1 against MAB Morales and Marquez.

Take a look at his resume. People forget how good Morales and MAB were. Huge amount of top class wins consistently against the bigger man.
