What's the difference? Froch's titles are just paper titles.

You got it backwards, jr...it's like this:

        Q) Does Carl Froch deserve a chance at sharing the stage with a living legend? A fighter whose accomplishments so far outstrip Carl's own that 20 years from now no one will say their names in the same sentence?

        A) If B Hop says he does.

No. Don't thank me. Just chalk it up to the "special relationship", hands across the pond and all that. :

Hopkins is a bigger payday for Froch than anyone out there besides GGG and Ward. Surprised he isn't jumping at the opportunity.

                Definitely !!!

Bhop did get dominated in his last fight, yes. But that was against a prime Kovalev at the top of his game who felt like he was being disrespected. ( Real or perceived, whatever motivates you.) That was a unification fight for 3 belts. I never expected Pops to go through with it. The man's got a true warriors spirit. (Unlike some who seem to be on a choke leash by management) If Bhop dedicates himself, he'll be ready. You've got to let the thoroughbreds run, that's what they do.

Froch is aging himself, not too many huge paydays left while father time rages on. Bhop vs Froch is a much better fight for the Alien than Kovalev. It should be competitive anyway you look at it. Let Froch fight Chavez Jr., after that Bhop comes calling. Besides, I'd like to see Bhop take a tune up at 168 to acclimate himself to cutting the weight and assessing his capabilities at 168. Then make the adjustments and entertain us all while they both rack up the $$$

What does Froch have to gain?

The only people who want to see this fight are Borehard sympathisers who want to see him get an undeserved title shot and payday.
