Since 2011 Froch has beaten a guy who was ranked #1 in the division and had a belt dating all the way back to 2007, you know, the days where Ward was getting knocked around like a ragdoll by journeymen. He also beat the #2 in kessler and twice beat the #5 in Groves.

Ward hasn't fought a mandatory or a top opponent since he fought Froch in 2011. How long can he cling on to the mantra "i'm the SMW champion doe"?
