Cotto isn't "ducking" so much as selling his MW title to the highest bidder since he knows he won't be able to keep/defend it.

He probably overestimated how much Canelo was willing to bid and negotiations fell apart, is looking to Floyd now.

It's not really ducking because whether he chooses option A, B, C or D, he's going to lose it anyway. It's just cashing in.

EVEYONE knows that Cotto has had the opportunity to fight Canelo A FEW TIMES but has never shown interest. Canelo however, has been VERY VOCAL about his desire to fight the top guys in his division, specifically Cotto.

Toto fans state that there's no reason to fight Canelo. I say they don't believe Cotto would win and would rather he retire without facing him. They don't admit it though and so you're given TONS of excuses on why he shouldn't/doesn't have to fight Canelo. Everything but the truth. Meanwhile there's no problem with Cotto fighting VERY WEAK competition.

Truth is though, Miguel Toto fans don't have to throw on capes and make excuses. Their daddy's OBVIOUS ducking and dodging tactics(again, in regards to Canelo) speak for themselves.

Miguel Cotto DOES NOT want to fight Saul Alvarez. He probably wishes he didn't exist because he's become his elephant in the room. Canelo to Cotto is what Pacquiao is to Floyd.

Cotto has faced guys like Manny in the past when they were at their peak. A Canelo is nothing to fear for Cotto. Canelo just needed a dose of Aside politics and Cotto dealt it. When you run your ginger mouth about wanting to fight Cotto and lil Manny, but can't seem to mention GGG, you are probably a bonafide pssy who relies on size advantages over lil dudes to feel like a "warrior."
