The first fight Ward won fair an square, however I feel a second fight would be a more even affair.

And in terms of not being elite. I don't see how someone who is in nearly all p4p list's not elite.

Froch is not prime and he is not a great fighter. He should have lost the first Groves fight and he doesn't have the ability to keep pressure on Bernard. He can't move the way Kovalev does and he just isn't on Bernard's level. There's a reason Froch is ducking him.

The only meaningful fight Froch could have at this point in his career is against Ward. But Froch obviously doesn't want the fight and Ward doesn't seem all that interested in fighting anyone himself. I also believe that Froch knows that it wouldn't matter if he fought Ward on his own front lawn in Nottingham he isn't going to beat him. And he surely wouldn't want to retire after losing a fight. Froch would also gain nothing by fighting Bhop, and he was better off if had not mentioned anything about him. DeGale is the next generation so I have no problem with Froch passing on that fight. So that leaves Junior, and I personally hope that Froch fights him and beats the living snot out of him in the process. And that would be a great way to call it a career!

Dirk, If Hopkins is so **** then froch should collect an easy payday while he waits for Chaves jr to clear up his promotional issues.
