Froch is my favorite active boxer and I totally understand his logic....but why did his team bring up B-Hop in the first place, only to backtrack?

And as for the B-Hop loss, he lost to the one dude that could probably beat ANYONE IN BOXING right now. That's damn near a WIN. I honestly think everyone at 168 loses by KO to Kovalev.

And who da fuhck decided that Chavez Jr. will bring Froch more money than a B-Hop fight? Everyone on this site with any sense knows Hopkins vs Froch is a 50-50 fight.

Reality decided that. Some people chose not to live in it on this site.

Froch got punked out by a 50 year old man. He made the smart choice and saved himself tremendous embarrassment in the ring as well.

Froch would out work Bernard over the 12, Hopkins would really struggle with his pressure in the later rounds in my opinion.
          How is that the topic?

Froch ducked Hopkins so there is no fight outcome to talk about

All Bernard Hopkins have to do is say "Hey Froch I want to fight" and Froch will proceed to duck like a big ****.

Froch robbed Andre Dirrell, and scared of Andre Ward because he already got his ass whipped once. He don't want it with an old 50 year old, that can potentially whip his ass in embarassing fashion after he just fought an bum ass UK fighter in Groves who was tagging him.

I love Hopkins. He's my all time favorite but there is no way in hell this is a duck. Who wants to see this fight? Hopkins has nothing left. He couldn't pull the trigger against Kovalev so why do you want to see him get beat up by Froch? He needs to retire.

And just because Froch hasn't answered back doesn't mean he's ducking. Like I said Hopkins is obviously trying to get under his skin like he's done his whole career getting opponents worked up. Surprised you can't see it.
Who is the easier style to fight against? Hopkins or Chavez Jr.

Chavez Jr just lost and beat Brian Vera, and is fighting Fonfora.

Hopkins just lost a UD to Kovalev, after going 8-2 in the last 6 years, beating three different champions and taking their title in that span (Pascal's WBC, Cloud's IBF, and Shumenov's WBA), and beating them clearly, no robbery win, nothing was handed to Hopkins in any fight. Like Chavez Jr's first "win" over Vera.

Hopkins is one of my all time favorite fighters and I'm honestly tired of him, he may have been one of father time's greatest adversaries but even then he fooled the public. People had no idea how far gone he really is, never really looking at the opposition at hand, the man needs to retire. He made his mark, time to get the fuck out.

It kills me how we completely ignored how many times Murat touched him, but Hopkins had anything to offer Kovalev? God

As much as I think Chavez jr sucks, he will still bring in more money for Froch than a Hopkins fight would.

Being honest, I would rather see the Chavez jr fight. Hopkins needs to retire. He's way past his due date and I'm no longer interested in watching him fight no matter who the opponent is.
