Question to the Al Haymon Haters. Do You Think Arum/Other Promotrs Are Doing More?

You will get a lot of emotional responses to your question, but you will not get much in the way of a yes or no answer with an intelligent response. The majority of the people who post on this site are emotion-driven whiners who use this message board as a forum to express their hatred of Floyd Mayweather and anyone positively associated with Mayweather.

I know. Im hoping a few honest people explain where the hatred came from. I mean ya, he made some **** fights at the end of last year and we all knew why. This March on NBC.

But then you have the same guys praising Arum and DLH. How long did they go with in house fights only? How many recycled matches did we get at WW from Arum?

Yet not a word. Haymon is doing something that could be huge for the sport as a whole and he gets **** on for it. A lot of non fans here. Dont let everyone fool you.

Last year the fight i wanted to see most (besides manny-floyd) was kovalev stevenson. Was really excited at the prospect of that fight. Two ko artists who were either top 2 or top 2 out of 3 in their division. The fight was apparently a done deal by the evil promoters as you say. Then something happened, in comes Al ****ing haymon. The instant Stevenson signed with him i knew the fight was dead, because Al Haymon doesn't believe in 50/50 match ups. Bam two weeks later the duck was complete.

Let's jump to 2015. The fight i want to see over any other match up is lomanchenko walters. Huge fight in the lower weight classes,. Really excited about the prospect of this fight, until rumors of Al ****ing Haymon stepping in again. We all know what is going to happen if he does.

They're are obviously other examples. I know loma walters isn't done yet.. but if it does. He will have single handedly ruined my top two fights over the last two years.

Both Lomachenko and Walters are Arum fighters and neither one is signed to Haymon. Arum can easily make this fight by the middle of this year, but he won't do it. In fact, he won't make this fight at all this year and maybe not next year because Arum doesn't pit his best fighters against each other until he reaches the point where he has no other options.

It sounds like you are so full of hatred for Al Haymon that you are willing to blame him for a fight not happening when he has no involvement with either fighter.

I don't think he has fragmented the sport. I don't care if he has burned bridges. He is offering us quality fights we want to see and we don't have to pay for them. I don' care how long it lasts. If the experiment fails, we can always go back to the crappy system we have now where we see one or two quality fight per year on HBO and Showtime with four or five fights per year that they expect us to pay $70 or more to watch.

Arum is responsible for Pacquaio/Rios and Pacqua/Algieri and GBP is responsible for Alvarez/Angulo and Alvarez/Lara. All of them cost $70 on PPV. What is your point?
