Also people need to quit with the KOV took it easy on HOP arguments. It was a chess match and KOV threw with full strength every punch. He even mentioned how ****ed up his hands were. B Hop durability is A+. B hop hurt Kov when he landed but didn't trust it. Froch loses easy to another American.
LOL... Sergey took it easy. He's an honest guy, he said all along he wanted to box with Hopkins and wasn't going for a KO.

Froch wouldn't have an easy time with Hops, he'd be slightly favored due to age, but Nard has a real shot at pulling that upset.
I agree with all of this cept' maybe the tongue-sticking-out part.

Hops could win this. Especially in Vegas.

Froch should bide his time. If he falls to hook Jr in Vegas, he could let Bute rebuild his brand a couple of more fights and then cash out in Canada handing out another beatdown.

Another ****** in denial trying to salvage something. Please indicate where he hurt him? Go back to your pipe ****boy. Kovalev boxed smart the whole fight and took no chances. When Hopkins pissed him off he tried to destroy him in the last round. It's irrelevant, kovalev embarrassed him.

B-Hop hurt him with a couple of shots but he never really had him hurting. I'm saying this as a guy that though Kovalev would probably murder B-Hop, but Kovalev wasn't taking it easy on him, B-Hop was able to force more of a B-Hop pace. He's a crafty old dude who got dominated in a non-embarrassing way.

Even as a guy that likes Kovalev, I'm still suspect of his chin (and from the KO % of his opposition I'd wager his handlers are as well). Though I think he'd eat Froch, who I'm suspect of both his chin and will to get up. Adonis might have had a shot 6 months ago, but he had some pretty bad flaws of his own exposed and he's not getting younger. That whole weight region pretty much is what it is, IMHO...

I should hope so. It would be a horrible, nothing fight.

Saying a guy got hurt because you feel he has a weak chin? You're seeing things that aren't there. Bhop didn't force a pace, Kovalev worked it from the start, then fought at a measured pace, and I say that as a guy who picked Kovalev to win by decision.

Yeah I'm not buying that Kovalev felt bad and didn't want to knock Hopkins out.

He clearly tried to take him out in that last round.

                    Peak of his career?

He's at the very end of his career.

Froch is correct that he has nothing to gain and everything to lose fighting Hopkins. I can't blame him for not taking a fight like that. It is a lose-lose situation.

At this stage in his career it's pointless and I have no interest in it.
