The point is that it's ridiculous to describe any brand of 8 oz boxing gloves as "pillows." They can all be used to either knock out, hurt, or cut an opponent.

Either way, no one even knows what brand od gloves Pacquiao is using yet some people are making statements about what type of gloves he agreed to with no knowledge of this whatsoever.

As irrelevant as this whole debate about gloves in the Maidana fight is I must correct you. Maidana was never trying to wear Cleto Reyes gloves. They were Everlast MX gloves.

yup thats why my initial post said, "if" pacquiao doesnt get to wear his LEGAL cleto reyes. Im hoping he does, cuz they are LEGAL. i feel you tho

Maybe it is but it certainly isn't unprecedented. But I'm going to wait and see what the gloves are before assuming what they are.
