How can he not be a one punch ko artist when he puts people out with one punch? Him and Benn have the exact same KO% - but Kessler has more 1 punch power than Benn.

Who has he put out with one punch? Allan Green who has been completely dead at the weight for years. Green got put out by a grazing blow from Glen Johnson.

Why? Lucian Bute should have been knocked out by a worse version of Andrade than the one Kessler fought. Kessler beat him the hell out of him when he was undefeated. I was there live, it was almost tragic how much punishment that guy could take.

Afterwards, Kessler got the microphone and called out Calzaghe. It was brilliant stuff.

Jones or Toney? Not as big punchers as Kessler at SMW in my opinion. You can only look at what they've done in that particular weightclass and I'd say Kessler was a bigger puncher than those guys you mentioned. Maybe not McClellan, but I explained above.

He knocked out a lot of champions like Siaca, Sartison, Beyer, Green, Magee etc.

He also has one of the absolute best jabs and 1-2s in the divisions history.

i didnt say bute was a better fighter, i said he hit harder. if you were there live you saw kesslers inability to put him away with his entire arsenal. bute dropped him with both head shots and body shots, put him out.

i think both jones and toney hit significantly harder than kessler. they hurt and finished world class opposition, kessler is excellent at punching out bums but at the highest level his power isnt as impressive.

if you want to tell me thats truly impressive in your eyes so be it but im far from impressed. i read that list over and over again and i honestly cant hold back an amused smile each time. every single name is just so far away from an impressive win its crazy.

Kessler at his best. Watch the piercing ramrod jab and nice combo for the KO. He was knocked spark out.

Kessler has put more people to sleep than any other super middleweight.

To determine a mns power you have to see how long it takes for the guy who got koed to get up. If a fighter puts a guy to sleep for 2 minutes or puts you to sleep on the connection of the punch you know he Carrys serious power. If the majority of the guys are getting up around the 8-10 count then the fight has decent/solid power it also depends on the opposition your taking out.

Yeah Bute did that after Andrade had taken several beatings and been in several tough fights. Kessler fought him and beat him at his peak. As I said, he took a tremendous amount of punishment.

Well, you bring up Andrade and Bute - in what world is Andrade a better opponent than guys who were world champions that Kessler knocked spark out?

If you measure "quality opposition" by Froch, Calzaghe and Ward - arguably the three greatest SMWs ever - then I think you have your measuring stick a little too high up.
