if Arum really didn't want this fight, he woulda announced plan B on Feb 1st at the strike of midnight...saying 'we told you we had a deadline'

now the old man is stuck in limbo playing this ****** waiting game...

we both know it...plain logic means take the bigger sum...i'm not taking it personal, i just think its a lost cause at this point

Man, he can't. He got outsmarted this time and I loved watching it. Showtime and Mayweather played the media game very well. All that "we're not going to negotiate through the media." They didn't...but they met Arum step for step on his BS. If this fight doesn't happen...believe me, we will see why.

I think Manny fans want a win over Floyd more than they do any other. I think Bob would rather die than have Floyd, a guy who left him and didn't follow the SRL/ODH model Bob created, beat Manny, a non American fighter he took from Murad and built into the biggest PPV fighter other than Floyd or ODH using that same model.

I have no doubt that would have happened if Mayweather and Pacquiao didn't have that meeting. It was Pacquiao and Koncz that cancelled the deadline not Arum.

I would hope it is so there is incentive for him but I don't know what expenses are going to fall under Top Rank for this fight. If he's got a nine figure contract with the Venetian, and if what he said about DLH-Mayweather is true (he stood to make very little as the B side), then maybe what you're saying is false. We don't know.

what do you mean he can't? Arum has repeatedly shown no shame in taking his schtick to Macau...he coulda went full spin mode and stuck with the deadline reason

Yeah, unless I can really get the dough together I'm watching it at home.

which means he makes the same money because he doubled the cost. Math is transitive you know- 2x 100 = 1x 200.
