Only thing this proves is that neither side has previously been serious about making a fight in the past. There may have been offers, and discussions but never with any actual weight or possibility of making the fight. Only reason this is actually even being negotiated now is because instead of both sides fighting each other the public is now fighting against them both. I for one welcome that and am happy the boxing community finally is demanding more of all of it's champions.

They also said "we agreed to all their demands." So why wouldn't they just say we signed the contract and are waiting for Floyd to sign. The point is, why is everyone so fixated on the term contract? If Floyd came out and agreed to whatever terms were laid out by his representation we would have a deal. If Manny's side agrees to the fight and Floyd's side agrees to the fight, contracts will get signed.

It's common for fighters to agree to a deal in principle and not sign contracts until weeks out of the actual fight. For example, Chavez Jr vs Fonfara was announced Jan 19th, 20th. According to Chavez Jr himself on Jan 27th, contracts still haven't been signed. But the fight is announced right? Hmm...

And they were screaming sign the contract knowing full well that there was no contract to be signed. Get over it.

I don't people realize just how shocking this article is. This would be like if Beercules wrote this article. Wouldn't have expected this in 100 years.

Yeah. Didn't bother to read it earlier because I thought it was standard Lyle material. Then I saw people referencing Ronnie. Then I read it. Wow.

Hahaha... It's quite amusing to watch you Pacquiao fans squirm and come up with all types of imaginary conspiracy theories to justify Pacquiao's lies. It's like the more obvious it becomes that Arum and Pacquiao have been lying and ducking the whole time the more desperate and outlandish you guys statements get. That alone is basically an admission to being wrong.

Maybe because...there never was a contract? You're telling us that even if the contracts aren't made, it's cool to say sign the contract? And you're using the Chavez Jr vs Fonfara thing as if it was a very professional thing to do? I'm not understanding. Let's make this **** make sense here buddy. It's not like you can sit here and say Arum wasn't lying at this point, right? Maybe in your mind when they said "sign the contract" it had some cryptic meaning where everyone agreed (even though they didn't), and the word "contract" is just a word to represent that we all agreed and you should get on board as well type ****. But in normal people's mind, when they say "sign the contract", we're actually going to believe that there is an actual contract somewhere out there. But there isn't so it turns out Arum is lying. And don't lie to yourself either because when Arum said sign the contract, you weren't sitting there thinking the "contract" was a metaphor. You believed there was an actual contract out there. So let's not try to decipher the whole "sign the contract" thing into some weird cryptic puzzle and just call it what it is. A lie.

Are you psychic or ******??? The biggest Manny Supporter in the media puts out this piece which is unbiased and says hey this fight is about to happen, Mayweather went out of his comfort zone to approach Manny and so both sides can compare notes because Mayweather is privy to the negotiations, and Manny isin't. Stop discrediting people - its a evil tactic, just like what Arum does and is doing to Manny. What you blind followers are not wise too is that Mayweather just Called Top Ranks Bluff - Arum did not want Manny anywhere near Floyd because something like this might happen - Mayweather made Manny aware of whats been happening - Ronnie the author of this article just broke everything down, If he did not bring the talks to Manny, all of you kool aid sippers will still believe that Manny signed the ghost contract that doesn't exist, Mayweather is on a BS deadline, And Floyd is holding up the fight, now someone who is privy to Manny's camp is speaking out and did you guys catch the line where he said people from within Manny's circle stealing huge amounts of $ from him - why are you guys not going after them??? I page thru this forum and its just nonsense and hate - when true boxing fans should applaud Floyd for being proactive and stop bashing him because he is a wealthy black athlete - Floyd has no personal beef with Manny and vice versa - why do you guys have hate for these 2 ????? and to hate a man for what he does outside the ring makes you less of a man because it is none of your business, your business is buying the fight, watching it, and making your racist comments amongst your racist friends - that's it, keep it in your living room and not on my computer screen.

Man, boxing fans have changed since yesteryear. I have never understood the argument from a fans perspective about a fighters PPV sales. It shouldn't matter what a guys PPV sales are at all to a fan. If a fighter who is considered the #2 PFP fighter in the world & is in the same weight division as the #1 PFP in the world but his PPV sucks then according to some fans on here the #1 guy shouldn't fight him.******** makes me sick to see fans making excuse after excuse why this fighter shouldn't fight that fighter.Mayweather has been ducking Pac for the last 5 years and his fan bois continue to carry water for him.PATHETIC,PATHETIC,PATHETIC!!!!

Now it is somewhat happening with Cotto. His fans say he is the man at MW but make excuses for why he shouldn't fight GGG. If he didn't want to fight the best MWs then why the hell did he fight for the MW strap then. I always liked Cotto but its bull***** that he won the MW belt and wants to defend it against non ranked guys who don't fight at MW. We have guys like Quillen dropping his belt & yet still have fans supporting him. Stevenson is clearly ducking Kovalev & he has fans making excuses for him. Now Wilder is on that same path and his fans are saying he should milk the title for a couple years fighting cans. What has happened to boxing fans. If a fighter wants to make up excuses for not fighting somebody that is one thing but for the boxing fans accepting and supporting and in some cases making up new excuses for them is something so monumentally ****** it defies description.
