so what is the answer? remember boxers are not that smart they need real good trainers. so you may not have all the answers. try to find a good trainer and listen to himComment

Oh we have a biomed student, 4-0 amateur who will show us the way to punching power. That's very good.Comment

"POWER" is hands down the most Overrated Attribute In Boxing! But Power and a Good Chin is something I think you're born with.
It is like that kid who while everybody works extra hard and try to get better...he just shows up at the gym and embarrass everybody and just seems like a natural at everything...those are what most call "GIFTED FIGHTERS"
But forget Power, Timing is far more important and does the most damage! It doesn't matter how much Power you have or Don't Have or how good a chin the opponent has! If you catch him with something he doesn't see coming he will go down. This also makes guys with good reflexes, hard to knock out or even down for that matter.
But yeah, POWER is something that EITHER YOU HAVE OR YOUR DON'T! If it was possible to GAIN it NATURALLY then more fighters would be doing what ever that is to GAIN IT!Last edited by sicko; 02-01-2015, 01:57 PM.Comment

Err...In England we start university at 18 after two years in sixth form. I said I know where it comes from, doesn't mean I'm a hard puncher (I'm not). I was replying to that guy who claimed I've never laced a pair. No need for anyone to get offended. I was born in May, 1996, you do the maths.Comment

You think it's any coincidence that almost every HOFer and ATG had above average power. Very few of the greats were featherfisted.Comment
