I like GGG, but I am sorry, he is not going to get Cotto. Cotto is only looking for big money fights. GGG might be a fun fighter to watch, but he is anything big money.

Cotto stop GGG? I have to thank you,you gave me a good laugh for a while. The only way that cotto stops golovkin,is with a *******. Golovkin isn't a one legged Martinez, just wanting to cash out. He's going to go in there with bad intentions, looking for the wbc belt, and it will honestly amaze me,if cotto makes it out of the 6th.

His position is that he is the mandatory challenger for Cotto's title.

No dumba$$, he's not ppv a-side. Froch isn't either in the Us, hence Froch vs GGG is not an HBO ppv. But GGG vs Chavez, Cotto, Canelo are all ppv, with GGG being b side, taking short money.

GGG deserves a Cotto fight about as much as someone like Peter Quillin. Like Quillin, GGG has done nothing to earn a shot at Cotto. He and his handlers think the hype he has been getting from HBO entitles him to a shot at Cotto or Alvarez or Chavez Jr (notice I didn't say Andre Ward because GGG and his team want no part of Ward under any circumstances). He is no more entitled to a shot at one of these guys than Quillin or any of the other guys fighting in or around the middleweight division.

That means absolutely nothing. Canelo Alvarez never fought a mandatory challenger in the three years that he held a 154-pound belt. Danny Garcia has avoided his mandatory opponent for his last two fights. I could go on and on.

GGG brings nothing to the table financially. Cotto could make as much money fighting K9 Bundrage or Demetrius Andrade as he would fighting GGG. That is why he will not get a Cotto fight.

He certainly is. Hes consensus best fighter at 160, while Quillian is considered a protected joke and never headlined Sho much less HBO

How can people say GGG is no big money fight for Cotto? That's neither ****** or ignorant. Canelo was also no PPV attraction before the Mayweather fight, but the numbers were crazy.

A Cotto vs. GGG PPV would damn sure generate more money than Cotto's last PPV with Martinez. GGG is an undefeated knock-out artist. He has the aura of something special and tix for his fights are selling like warm soup in a cold winter. Many fans love him already and even more will after watching the 24/7 series for the fight. Plus GGG would probably accept a 3 million dollar check for that fight, while Cotto will get the big piece of the cake. If Cotto can't get Canelo, Mayweather or Pacquiao, there's no other fighter who will make him earn more money than GGG.

I think these revolting flojobs see Cotto as ripe for the picking for the mw lineal belt at 154.5 or somthing comical. They dont want GGG getting his hands on Cotto first, cause we know Floyd only fights past prime blown up welters above 152
