Polish light heavyweight contender Andrzej Fonfara (26-3-1, 15KOs), who nearly derailed WBC champion Adonis Stevenson last year, says Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has made a big mistake by accepting to fight him.

Earlier this week, Fonfara officially signed a contract to face Chavez on April 18th. The location for the contest, reportedly taking place at 172-pounds, has not been finalized. Chavez will enter the ring with over a year of inactivity.

I think so too. I think fonfara wins and probably beats chavez up. Chavez jr. lacks the dedication to accomplish anything in the sport.

He's hitting the bags and mitts with great power, and his stamina is looking good. He had on one of those elevation masks hitting the bag.

Based on their work ethic, I don't view him as an underdog in this fight at all. Chavez may have faster hands, but I don't see him as doing anything else better(Certainly has not proved it). There's some big questions surrounding if his power and chin still carries or not, now that he isn't dehydrating himself to fight fighters 2 divisions smaller.

Good fight but one I can easily see Chavez Jr getting a gift decision in to ruin a good night of boxing.
