I honestly have a feeling about this fight. I think Fonfara stops Jr. This was the wrong opponent to choose after such a long layoff, and Chavez type layoffs really involve very little to no training and careless eating. I believe Fonfara gives Jr a wake up call.

No when Stevenson fought finfara only 250k people watched it, the lowest fight of the year. This is regular ShowTime, the most they will pay Chavez Jr. Is 2 million, and likely less. Tim Bradley, canelo, even cotto only get about 2 million max on a regular HBO fight and HBO generally pays better than ShowTime because they get higher ratings. Bob arum and top rank has HBO in its pocket. Brandon Rios got paid 850k to fight Alvarado after 2 losses and a dq win where he was down on the scorecards. Alvarado got paid 750k after losing 3/4. Top rank are the best promoters which is why pacquiao, cotto, Marquez, Tim Bradley and many top fighters stay with top rank. Chavez Jr. Ducked ggg and a chance to make many millions to go take easy fights with al haymon like the rest of his bum fighters too. Just when you think haymon is starting to change his ways, he makes Garcia Peterson a catchweighf with no title on the line. Haymon has severely restricted the careers of many good fighters. Chavez Jr. Is a duckerComment

Seeing as Fonfara fights at Light Heavyweight, this fight will be more fair than most of Chavez Jr's opponents. Hopefully Andrej is right.Comment
