Anybody who wants to see the best fight the best should want this matchup.

Everyone knows that Rigo, even with his off-putting style, is going to want big money; the fact that numbers discussed are in the multimillions will make the talks even less fruitfull.

If LSC gets $1m-$3m for the fight, there's no way in heck that Caribe will accept Rigondeaux getting the $500k or so needed to make the numbers work.
is one of the worst excuses for not doing the fight. If the excuse of lsc is that he deserves 6 times the money of the real champion we better has to accept he is a coward as he already showed.

I don't like LSC and he priced himself out, but it's the same the other way around. Rigo isn't worth much price wise, 500k tops and there's no way he'll accept that. Real champ, fake champ, ducker, runner.... it doesn't matter. LSC isn't worth over 1.5 and rigo isn't worth over 500k. Neither will ever come to terms on the money issue. Who will win? Rigo easily I'd imagine, but it won't matter as we won't see it.

What pressure are they talking about? They're doing so little compared to the other Cubans. Gamboa confronted Lopez and Garcia in their post fight interviews. Lara stood beside Canelo. Abril confronted Rios and hell broke loose. It would have been great if Rigo bought ringside seats in every Santa Cruz fight. This guy is too boring even outside the ring. Stalk LSC, visit his training camp, do something...

So Santa Cruz, an undercard fighter, is worth 1 million more than Rigo? In your opinion that would be fair if LSC was getting paid 1.5 M and Rigo 500k?

Let me remind you of the purses for Donaire vs. Rigo: 1.3 M Donaire / 750k Rigo, knowing that Donaire was much more popular than Santa Cruz and Rigo was even less popular than he's now.

There is no excuse for LSC not to fight Rigo given that both fighters are completely available and both fighters are fresh off wins. The only excuses is that LSC doesn't want to fight Rigo, he should just admit it if that's the case.

Rigo is making 750+ in Japan, why should he make less in the US?
