He went and fought in Japan for a New Years show, for $500k no less, against a pretty hapless opponent.
Do you honestly think Caribe would accept even $400k for a fight with Leo Santa Cruz, agruably the second most marketable fighter at the weight? And $400k would be paying a friggin premium. lol

Outside of Miami, which may not even be true, there's not a venue in the country where 100 tickets will be sold to come out and watch Rigondeaux fight. Why offer Rigondeaux, the clear-cut class of the division, even $300k when there are easily bigger fights (Mares-LSC) and more enjoyable fights with cheaper opponents. lol

Let me remind you of the purses for Donaire vs. Rigo: 1.3 M Donaire / 750k Rigo, knowing that Donaire was much more popular than Santa Cruz and Rigo was even less popular than he's now.
Rigo doesn't sell tickets and Rigo doesn't draw eyeballs.

LSC aint fighting rigo.
LSC is currently looking at the al haymon ducking playbook for possible alternatives.

one boring fight against cordova and because arum say so, every hater is running with it... And don't mention agbeko and Atlantic City, that fight should have take place in Miami, no the main event where a philly fighter was been showcase it against a brawler like kirkland, and on top of that the kid lost, so his fans left the arena very sad after seeing a few rounds of agbeko trying to survive, the funny thing is that agbeko was a very solid exchamp that until that fight woill engage aginst everyone, maybe he lost his ball against mares or he felt Rigondeaux power, what do you think?

NOBODY wants to see you against that boring runner. Do you really want to sign to get frustrated with his running and have the fans boo you both because of that disgusting rat?
We want the actions fights!! They favor not only the fans but your image. Fighters like Rigo stain the image of the person who is fighting them because he avoids confrontation like the ****** coward he is.
You just know Rigo will make LSC look like the can crusher that he is. You scared homie.
