But $100.00 is pushing it, probably wouldn't do 3 mil, maybe 2.8 or such.

Would I pay $100 for this PPV? Yes.
    Would casuals? heck no.

Plus when you take into account that MOST boxing events are no longer shown in blast events areas, non of the Hooters bars in my area show Boxing events, only UFC, but Im pretty sure they will for this fight.

So you have people at blast events + multiple people in one home going in together on the price.

Higher prices can only hurt the PPV numbers.
Also if the price is 100 bucks and the fight stinks it will turn people off to boxing even more, remember the world awaits did 2.4 million and almost everyone at my work said the fight ****** and Mayweather was boring and lied about giving fireworks it was all hype, Floyds next ppv only did 800k with Hatton that is a huge drop off.

People will leave dissatisfied if the fight is a dude and no action it will hurt the sport even more, its a risky move to take.

79.99 will probably be the ppv price. anything higher will turn off your casual fan. this will hit 2.9M buys.

This why I dont think the fight happens on May 2nd and might have to go on June or July, if they want to maximize revenue they have to too an international world tour this fight is huge, Pac Algieri was not even a big fight but they started 6 months in advance with a world wide press tour.

Floyd and Pac have to go to Europe to promote and Japan and Philippines, Mexico, Australia, They need to go to place where they can generate big revenue, that is the only way the fight can generate over 500 million dollars.

I don't see it doing more than 1.8 million ppv buys especially now since Floyd requested no press tour, no tv show interviews to hype of the fight, and no 24/7 series build up. they have no time it makes no sense to rush on May 2 they need to spend the first month on pure promotion and hype sure the fight sells it self but the extra promotion will get you even more people who might have never ordered it, people are lemmings they will follow what is popular and the more the fight gets promoted the more casuals who dont even watch boxing will be curious and follow the pack and order it.

This fight just need promos, Face-offs, and word of mouth.....this fight will sell they dont need to push it to june

Especially when it gets close to May 2nd....that last week before the fight.....Everyone will be on board

My only question is do that have enough time for training camp

This fight has been promoted since 2009 nothing else has to be said there's no need for a press tour, 24/7 All-Access or anything. This is the most built up boxing match in history. You need no gimmicks to sell this it's already sold.

                  2. An average of 15 people PER home is unrealistic and laughable.

                  3. There isn't even a half billion people in the U.S period. Basically what your saying is 150% of the population of the U.S. will watch the fight in the U.S.

                  4. There is absolutely no way there is going to be 2 billion people worldwide that watches this fight live. ****, I wouldn't be surprised if 40% of the world's population didn't have cable at all.

I actually saw my mistake after posting it. I know there aren't even half a billion people in the U.S. I am just not really an editing type here. My mistake will forever be carved into Boxingscene history so all can see. I left it that way and figured everyone would see the obvious mistake and get the point. I am honestly still too lazy to go back and edit it.

To decrease the cost of a $100 dollar ppv all it takes if for 10 people to chip in $10 each. Or 5 people to chip in $20. Beer and food not included. Still if 10 people bring $20-25 for ppv, food, and drinks that's enough.
Smart but personally I wanna be selfish with this ppv and watch undisturbed. Want to drink up every video feed and commentary. Those fight parties you cant even ejoy the undercards with people partying or trying to flip the channel.

Exactly, for this ppv I am not having a party only my family and that is it. I gotta focus and really savor everything, the anticipation after ever underacrd fight as it leads up tot he main card.

Everytime I have people over there is always someone who can't shut their mouth when you try to listen to the commentators, you know the person the one who thinks they know everything and are a coach but never boxed in their life it gets annoyingly hard to focus on the fight.
