Even though a lot of people will get together in one home, there's prob gonna be a lot of hosts. As fight night gets closer, more and more people will have a change of heart and will want to buy it. How many times did I change my mind on not buying a Pac ppv literally last minute, when the fighters are being introduced. The hype and talk around the TV, ads, internet will suck people into the hype and they will buy. In the very least it surpasses May-DLH. At worst.

still, this fight is going to absolutely crush 3 million ppvs. it will crush it. expect more than four.

        4 million? that's too high.

Cinco de mayo weekend + one of the most anticipated fights in a long time will result in big dollars. These guys are making a ****load of money so they need to shatter every record.
The Super Bowl will have a hell of a lot more than 13-14 million viewers. Last year averaged out at 111.5 million.

Which really puts the unpopularity of boxing in perspective, huh?

Truthlly this has gotten bigger since then. While they might be out of there primes it's more intrigue today after all these years of waiting.

Yes this fight is capable of doing over 3,000,000 homes, and with the amount of fight parties there will be if the fight happens, you can more than 10x that number and that is the amount of people that will actually watch the fight in the U.S. alone. I think 300 million people is too small. There will be many heads distributed in 3 million homes. Let's say an average of 15 people per home just to throw out numbers. Half a billion people will watch this fight in the U.S.

Add UK, Asia, the other American countries like Canada, Mexico, South America, Central America. Easily a couple billion people will watch the fight. There's 7 billion people in the world, about 40% of the worlds population will be watching this fight. Of course only about 0.15% of those will be paying.

No offense Kev, but this sort of thing isn't your strong suite.

              1. 3 Million x 10 =/= 300 million.

              2. An average of 15 people PER home is unrealistic and laughable.

              3. There isn't even a half billion people in the U.S period. Basically what your saying is 150% of the population of the U.S. will watch the fight in the U.S.

              4. There is absolutely no way there is going to be 2 billion people worldwide that watches this fight live. ****, I wouldn't be surprised if 40% of the world's population didn't have cable at all.

The vast majority of people watching the superbowl are not football fans and they would never pay for a NFL PPV.

I was talking to some co-workers and the first topic that came up was about the game, yet they didn't even know the teams involved lol.

Yes but you have to reach out to white people. I know there's tons of UFC fans who would pay to see PAC vs Floyd. But won't pay to watch any other fights.
