Thanks for explaining that to him. He doesn't get that if the fight is at 147-8oz gloves. that's why its a non issue except for clowns looking to create an excuse in advance.

If a waiver is granted or something changes, then its an issue for discussion.

Gloves are made differently by the makers....cleto has less and padding on the knuckles so boxers who are punchers wear these. You can feel knuckles on them. Winning gloves are pillows because of their ample padding....thats why Floyd wore these. It's foolish to say gloves don't matter becayse if they didn't boxers wouldny make conditions on gloves for a fight aND all boxers would wear the same gloves.

Whoever come up with a better fight plan and execute them perfectly wins.

That's why I mentioned the gloves size. If Floyd doesn't feel his power, it'll be a long night for Manny, can he win with decision because of volume of punches he have to throw? Absolutely. But if Manny can't hurt Floyd wearing a "pillow", Floyd will walk him down because not only he can't hurt him, but Floyd is bigger and longer than Manny. So yeah, the gloves is very important for Manny's chance of winning. Will Floyd let him use that against his advantage over Manny? I doubt it. He keep saying he just wants to even the playing field, hopefully he manned up and fight Manny on the "even playing field". Highly doubtful on that though.
Like I said.. punches in bunches from all angles will keep Floyd defensive and try to pot shot someone who uses footwork to get in and out wont work.. as far as "walking Manny down"? I don't even recall the last time Floyd walked anyone down.. I remember even being defensive vs a greatly overmatched marquez, or outclassed gatti was the last I remember Floyd hitting the offense.. I do see it as strategic boxing fight.. whoever keeps their front foot on the outside gets the best shot at landing a fight changing shot...

I still think it will be 7-5 on either side..

What does any of this have to do with the weight of the gloves you previously brought up as being 'the issue'?

The brand of gloves has nothing to do with the weight but so you won't bring it up again they both can wear gloves that they want it's already been agreed upon once contracts are drafted

In response to Dunn remark that gloves don't matter and is an excuse. When you're the puncher in a fight you would want Cletos.

Thats not true. The problem Floyd had with the BRAND NEW gloves was he felt the horsehair in those gloves could be moved around which could lessen the padding over the knuckle. That was his only problem with those gloves. He felt the padding was to loose and could be moved around.

That is not Maidana's fault and I also understand Floyd having a problem with that flaw in those particular gloves.

u should watch the canelo fight he walked him down many times, and counter punches slow down punches in bunches especially from a fighter like pac, floyd will definately be touched but pac isnt going to be able to throw all those punches all night without leaving himself open as he tends to do at times. i see it 8-4 mayweather may the best man win tho!!!!!

The quieter Arum is about the whole thing, the better I feel. Every time he talks and gives us an update about what's happening, I can't help but get the feeling he's just saying what people want to hear.

Get ready Pac fans. This is what you clowns have been begging for. Well it looks like its going down. Floyd is going to thoroughly dismantle Pacquiao in embarrassing, spectacular fashion.
