When you move backward and not throwing any punches, people consider it running.

He probably felt Bundu's power in the early rounds. He didn't like getting punched in he face, and so he ran.

People that he ran, dksab, and obviously don't realize he has the ability to box, and route his opponents.

He did the same thing against Zaveck. A guy that was on his way to stopping Berto, if it weren't for the cut.

First off, he loked like C level garbage in the win outclassing a d level fighter, but he won 12-0 doe? WHo gives a ****.

Secondly, boxing and running are two different things. I laugh my mother ****ing ass off when people try to say running, he boxing doe! **** off you ******. No, back tracking around the ring without a plan or trying to set something up is not "Boxing" "doe". It's ****ing running.

But I hardly think he was running, as I've seen him fight exactly like that before (see the Chaves fight) and no one said anything then. I think because eventually in that fight he got the KO.
He didn't run. People's definition of running in boxing is twisted. He backed off to make space for himself to throw more combinations to open up Bundu's tough-to-crack guard. It was hard, but what is boxing with no unexpected tough fights? That would be boring. Now let's see the rest of the top 10 vs Bundu, let's see them do so much better than Thurman vs that style. And Mayweather and Pacquiao would have trouble looking good against him too.

That's not my issue with Floyd. I don't care how much he moves. I would like to see him fight guys who can move as good as him, or at least close to it.

He often stayed away from his weak opponent. Sure he landed more power punches and scored the only knock down because his opponent couldn't fight much. After his speech about giving the fans knock outs he fought a safety first fight and never really went after that guy and tried to hurt him. I am sure Maidana or Matthysse would have gone after that guy hard and knocked him out. Yes Thurman won every round but he should have scored a KO and he didn't even try to get a KO so he was a disappointment in this fight.

I'm just glad Thurman got in 12 rounds after the long lay off and shoulder injury.
                    .

He's gonna beat the crap out of Guerrero.

Thurman dominated that guy, people just thought since the guy was 40 and never fought a credible opponent, he should have gotten KO'd but he fought well
