Made a prime cotto beg his corner to stop the fight, schooled Tim Bradley, totally schooled margarito whom Floyd ducked in the past. Fighter of the decade, 3x fighter of the year, first and only 8 division world champion. He has better credentials than Floyd mayweather. And hes exciting to watch unlike Floyd. Also second highest ppv sales by any boxer, just behind mayweather. Manny doesn't need Floyd for his legacy, he would go down in history top 3 best ever without Floyd. Floyd would just be the icing on the cake.
Stop mentioning Morales. Barrera ok. But Morales? What was his record for the rest of his career after he beat Pac?

I know this is not a popular opinion, but I would've liked to see Floyd and Manny fight Cotto Khan respectively and then fight each other in Sept. Cotto Khan would've been tough tough fights imo.

Floyd Manny is going to happen this May 2. Feels obvious to me. Plus, a friend of mine who works for HBO claims it will, not that that is proof. Like Manny said, there is no blood test for Floyd to blame this time. He doesn't really have a choice this time.

At their ages, having slowed down, work rate down, Floyd will definitely have the big advantage. Kinda like Roy Jones Hopkins I, Roy dominated with his superior speed and power. Years later, once they had diminished, Hopkins superior technical skill won him the fight easily.

Pac Floyd, are not that diminished, but enough that I think Floyd will easily take control for the second half, and will be good enough in the first half.

Why not. Floyd/Cotto is a pointless rematch. Khan and Pacman is intriguing becacuse of the hand speed of both. Cotto is a slow plodder, easy win for Floyd, a duck move. Pac/Khan is made bigger if its at Wembley. No debate.

So.....we are just going to act like the Arum wasn't lying about the negotiations? Not hard to see who's biased and who isn't on this site.

I can't see Floyd Cotto 2 happened, there's just no interest in it. 12 posters on here said they would buy it.

If Floyd fights Khan, who could Manny fight to be bigger than that?

There would definitely be interest. Floyd and Cotto have a big fan base, and most fans would be interested in seeing if Cotto could KO Floyd this time.

It's not going to happen, because there is just too much pressure to make Pac Floyd happen, but Floyd Cotto 2 would sell well enough, no doubt. In a vacuum, it's a good fight.
