        WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBF are only really recognized as actual championships because the IBHOF recognizes them. Perhaps if the IBHOF derecognizes the WBA until they sort that mess out, something may change.

                        Theres even two HOF's, so if one changes policy, the other will pounce to take advantage.

                            The World Boxing Hall of Fame is practically defunct. They haven't inducted a new class in years. They don't have a fixed location. Hell, they don't even have a website. It's 2015, and they don't even have a website.

                                I'm not entirely sure about their recent activity levels, so maybe you're right in that regard.

                                Either way, as long as titles are recognised by promoters, they'll be milked and used for whatever purpose.
