That is so damn confusing? Did Keith Thurman fight last week? Said he won it 1-16-2015

Well actually he been Mayweather Mandatory for awhile now, so I guess since the WBA don't have the balls to order Mayweather to fight his Mandatory or strip him of his WBA Belt, they instead just gave him a Belt instead of stripping Mayweather and putting it up for the Keith Thurman vs Guerrero fight

I'm going to assume Mayweather is paying MORE double or triple than what the Belt Fees are for the WBA and the WBC to allow this BULL**** because he has the Light Middleweight WBA and WBC titles as well. This is keeping young fighters from reaching their dreams which is to become WORLD CHAMPION by 1 Greedy Idiot who once said Belts don't mean nothing to him anymore is now holding them hostage

If your not WBA 'super' champion then your not an official world champion. How can Quigg be WBA champ if Rigo is? Thurman when Floyd is?

There are too many belts in boxing and most don't mean **** anyway but as a fighter I would rather fight to get my championship belt rather than have it given to me like that. Im not knocking Thurman, its not his fault but nobody should be elevated to champion, they should have to win a fight for that but that's boxing I guess.

I think the belt, no matter how pointless they are, would mean much more to a fighter winning it in the ring and having that experience rather than a phone call when hes having dinner with his wife or whatever telling him hes champion now.

and Floyd beat maidana for the wba in may 2014. you are right that was a unification.

the fight in September wasn't a unification though. Floyd should be stripped.

              mandatories should be enforced.

its the only way too ensure that fighters who are ducked or just don't have big fan bases get their shot at the title.
Like you said, WBA won't strip his belt same thing with WBC.

IMO, Thurman and Brook should fight each other, then the winner fights Khan.

                  Only in Boxing ......

Soooooo, here is the million dollar question or two:

Is Thurman now a paper champ??

And will his belt be on the line against Guerrero?

Khan isn't too keen on facing either of them.

Dude, take your medicine and calm down .......

Thurman was out for almost a year with a shoulder injury, and then wanted a soft-target as his return fight ... So how was he even in a position to challenge the Champion for his belt, if at all possible???

Oh, I forgot, facts are easily dismissed on this forum.
