Poor Espinoza. He can't even have a decent talk with a 37 year old man who still behaves like a 12 year old kid.

It appears that the CBS chief relies on Espinoza heavily to deliver the goods. How can he with a scared individual?

Great if true. All this tells me that Showtime is going real hard to make this fight.

Hbo won't touch him, and after this year if floyd is really done, we won't have a cash cow anymore.. He would be wise to not totally burn bridges with showtime...

Besides, floyd has 2 fights left, why wouldn't all cash him vs manny.. Just too much money to be made
Floyds fear and lack of balls is more than 100million, he will have sleepless nights if he losses to manny!

Let's all be clear on something...Haymon has already burned some bridges with HBO...He may be making deals all over the place right now but what happens when ratings don't come back in favor of his fights? What is the rating threshold that NBC and Spike is looking for to call this experiment a success?? NBC, Spike and probably BET are paying out a looooottttttt of money to Haymon and they are going to expect huge ratings...if that does not happen, Al has to go crawling back to HBO and Showtime...which brings me to my latest point...I seriously doubt he wants to piss off Moonves....and word gets out...Al probably made this deal with NBC in a hurry because he knew his name would start to become **** once he screwed over Les Moonves....

It really doesn't make sense. Mind u, it's really not on Haymon to make the fight so why hold him responsible? IF they wanted to stop working with Haymon, it would have very little to do with mayweather and more to do with his move to other networks. Haymon boxing is the future, like it or not. U don't mortgage the future for one fight. These guys are smart business men. They don't think like fans. They think based on money.
They do, that's why they need this fight. Why hasn't' boxing on network tv? Because people stopped watching. For network programming to work it needs millions of viewers. Only way to sell the advertising. There are not enough die hard boxing fans to keep boxing on regular tv. They need the every day person to watch too in order for it to work. This fight brings all eyes back to boxing. The masses will tune in and hopefully be drawn to boxing and once again popular enough for network tv. Without the fight you're trying to sell a fringe sport to the masses. And it won't work. Because boxing will be extremely unpopular with the masses if this fight isn't made. Watch the backlash on boxing if this fight doesn't get made
