Comments Thread For: Robert Helenius May Finally Return in The Spring

Finnish heavyweight Robert Helenius (19-0) could be on his way to make a comeback this coming spring after a long layoff due to injuries and a contractual dispute with Sauerland Event. Helenius last fought in March of 2013 and before that in November of 2012 and before that in December of 2011 when he beat Dereck Chisora but suffered a bad hand and shoulder injury that began a long rehab period. In October 2013 it was announced that Helenius had left Sauerland Event and almost the same day Sauerland claimed a valid contract and here we are in 2015.

Ya but I'm thinking that's because he wasn't fully recovered from his injuries. His last 2 fights were horrible but prior to that he looked good, Im hoping those performances are due to the injuries and not related to being past it.
