Not sure what the issue is here. Facing guys like Povetkin, Fury, Browne makes much more sense than jumping into a Wlad fight and losing. Not sure how that's a duck. He has a daughter with physical issues that he has to support.

I dont think this is a bad idea... Klitschko has the jennings fight coming up... possibly a fight with fury, since fury has been calling him out for a while... a possible fight with briggs (i dont see the point, if briggs doesnt hurt him inside 4 i just dont see him winning)... there are also some who still question wilder... what better way than to set up a couple of title defenses against top opposition and become a legitimate threat to clinchko.

I hear negotiations for the UBF title and a bout with Charlie Zelenoff in Tuscaloosa are almost wrapped up.

Charlie by KO in the rematch.

Wilder has quickly become the most overrated boxer in the world by virtue of beating a guy who was slipped the mickey (likely in the form of diuretics) and only a shadow of the fighter who beat Arreola.

To hear some tell it, Wilder has already beaten Fury, Povetkin, Browne and Wlad and is the king of boxing.

It's this kind of thing that makes the world hate Americans.

As that other Wilder thread put it, he's quote "how a HW champion is suppose to look" unquote. Says it all.

Lucas Browne or Manuel Charr will be Wilder's first opponent. They're not gonna put him in with Povetkin or Pulev

what are ya euro boxing fans getting all worked up about? If hes a "overrated" fighter and what not, wouldnt ya be eager to get clinchko in the ring with him?

If Wilder waits to long for a Klitschko-fight he wont get much credit for a win.
                  Wlad is already 39.

It's not me... Finkel said that -- you better read the article you are posting on. Can you... I mean read?

A win against a past prime faded Wladimir Klitschko (still not likely IMO) is better than a one-sided beatdown by Wlad
