Weird seeing Finkel guiding Wilder after all these years. I agree with him, Wilder needs work. Feed him Tarver & Cunningham this year and step up with some tougher fights after that.

When Parker won his belt and didn't instantly unify with Wilder, Wilder destroyed him on TBV saying a fighter had to be ready for the big fights as soon as he got the belt which Parker and AJ proved.

The person Wilder should have been taunting is himself the guy needs to apologize to heavyweight boxing for teh damage he did to the sport over the years,

AJ didn't slate anyone for not fighting when he got his belt so you can't accuse him of hypocrisy (you rewrote history by claiming he did) .
This isn't about Aj it's about Wilder lying he did if slating Parker.

1) AJ went after Klitschko and got another belt in his thrid fight.

2) Parker went after unification in his third fight.

3) Wilder slated everyone else off for not going after unification and has had had 8 fights since his belt !!!!!!%^&*

I don't understand! Arreola should never have been allowed to fight Stiverne for that title in the first place!

Wladimir Klitschko is the obvious champion and Stiverne was next in line to fight Vitali.

When VK retired, that title should have been fought out by Wlad and Stiverne.

Wlad would have punched his head in and immediately unified all belts and this would never have happened.

Now we have a paper champion holding the belt hostage who has no right to even be there!

Wow! Did you type this a couple years ago? Very prophetic, fantastic insight. Finkel has encouraged and excused Wilder being a ducker. He has that belt hostage and is being offered a king's ransom to actually fight the other champion.
This Finkel old fart needs his drivers licence taken away - he should sit at home with his slippers on watching The Price Is Right and let the fighters fight the fights that we want to see. There's no more developing when you have a belt. If you are openly admitting that you're avoiding fights and you are a champion then it is not called 'developing' it is called 'ducking'.

klitschko vs jennings was agreed to before wilder was even champion.

klitschko lost all of his titles the same year wilder won his title.

when was this unification supposed to take place?

finkel needed to buy time to fulfill klitschko's hbo contract so he could move to showtime in 2016 to unify with wilder.

it was a reasonable plan, but fury pulled off the upset and finkel's plan was ruined.

aj's third defense was against a 41 year old klitschko who looked horrible in a lopsided loss and took a year and a half off before facing aj with no tune ups.

but wilder was expected to unify with a klitschko in his first defense? even though klitschko had signed to fight someone else before wilder was even champion?
