I like how you assume that Arum gets 33% of the split and act like Al Haymon works for Free.

Ignored Haymon's manager cut to not have to then also bring up the 15% that Pacquiao also has to kick over to Michael Koncz; tried to make it seem as if Pacquiao actually ends up with some money, for conversation's sake.

If you want to spell out everything, we can do that (Arum-33%, Koncz-15%, Roach-10%, camp expenses, owed fight advances, current taxes in his home country-30%, back taxes).

From the assumed $60m, 55% ends up going to Arum/Koncz/Roach and 30% goes to current taxes, Pacquiao is left with $9m, all before deducting whatever advances that Arum gave him for his camp expenses. If he walks away with $6m off of that $60m, I'd be shocked.

Floyd gives up 15% to Haymon, 10% to his pops, 35%-20% (depending on what his accountant can do for him) to Uncle Sam, and whatever camp expenses he has. Off of $90m, Floyd goes home with $40m (plus his share of the live gate, the closed circuit, concessions/merch, and whatever other revenue streams beyond the TV rights)

Look dude you said no one walks away from a lot of money and I told you a person that did. I did not say anything about someone not wanting to fight someone I just pointed out that people walk away from money all the time. money is not a motivating factor to everyone like you seem to think. Maybe you don't know who Dave Chapelle is but he had the hottest show on the Comedy Network and walked away from it all over principle. The 50 million dollars they were going to pay him meant nothing close to his principles.

Now as far as Floyd and Manny fighting the only person I recall walking away from a ton of money was Manny during the first negotiation years ago. As far as things go now, I think he would be a fool to walk away. Floyd is not walking away from this fight. He wants it. He's cashing out. However it seems like a lot of posters on NSB wish he would walk away. I want this fight to happen and I think it will. But you have to admit Arum misleading the public regarding a contract that does not exist is kind of suspect. Instead of getting your panties in a bunch you should keep your fingers crossed that your boy Manny does not walk away again on the 31st. Like a said Floyd is not walking away because he's the one offering the fight. Let logic guide you and not your emotions.

The same boxing fans who weren't clamoring for Lewis-Tyson, as a big a spectacle as it was, because they already had a sense that Tyson was shot as an top fighter and Lewis had far more left in the tank.

So who is "shot" for Floyd vs. Pac??? And if you think it's Pac, then that's even more of a reason for Floyd to earn his biggest (and supposedly easiest) payday of his career. To this day, Lennox Lewis boasts that the greatest win of his career was against Tyson. So if you think Pac is shot, you just went against your own argument that Floyd doesn't need Pac.

Relax about this is there contract, isnt there a Manny-Floyd contract. There's a deal memo. IF pts agreed to then it goes to full contract.
