I'm saying that the TV deal is far more important to Floyd than any concern about what 8-ounce gloves Pacquiao would wear for the fight.

The fight has already lost a ton of luster, especially since Marquez face-planted Pacquiao; opening odds on the fight are already 3;1 Mayweather. If the terms aren't right, there's no real value to taking the fight for Mayweather, especially when he still has fights with Cotto and Khan, and far easier to come to terms, in the cue.

"No real value"??? The biggest PPV fight in history!!! If there is "no real value" to Floyd vs. Pac, then why did SHO & HBO even bother meeting and negotiating??

Do you have any substantial evidence that the SHO-HBO TV deal is more valuable to Floyd than his guaranteed purse and his PPV split (which is separate than SHO & HBO's PPV split)?? Do you know for sure that Floyd even owns the TV licenses of his fights?? I can't find any evidence.

The showtime deal has been a complete disaster, and unless Floyd fights manny its about to become really bad. Those are just facts. However, they cannot force floyd to do anything tho, which is why i don't think he fights pacquiao. They really have no control over floyd that much is certain. So if floyd takes this fight its on him, meaning his choice and should be applauded if he does.
