I'm pretty certain all the fighter-related terms are agreed in principle even before TV rights and PPV splits (between networks) are negotiated. Network big wigs wouldn't waste their time meeting together. And I'm a firm believer that Floyd & Pac's terms were the most difficult to negotiate...more than the TV. SHO & HBO wouldn't blow their TV deal, especially when the Lewis-Tyson deal is there as a model to amend.
So, what you are essentially saying is that IF Floyd isn't happy with the TV deal, then the fight is off. Then it would be Floyd's fault indeed. Boxing fans will NOT be happy with that! CBS & Time Warner won't be happy with that either.
I'm saying that the TV deal is far more important to Floyd than any concern about what 8-ounce gloves Pacquiao would wear for the fight.
The fight has already lost a ton of luster, especially since Marquez face-planted Pacquiao; opening odds on the fight are already 3;1 Mayweather. If the terms aren't right, there's no real value to taking the fight for Mayweather, especially when he still has fights with Cotto and Khan, and far easier to come to terms, in the cue.
What is not true? What is/are the lies??? Can Mr. Espinoza speak up and don't treat us like idiots who can't read between the lines.
You are about to get fired. You probably don't care because Haymon and Schaeffer will take you in. Moonves cant fire you right now because he does not want to upset Floyd any further. But after the fight falls through you will be out of a J-O-B. You are finished.
