    P@CT@RD LOGIC:

Floyd's contract with SHO has been a complete disaster. They've lost millions on him. They're tired of his bull**** and forcing him to fight Manny.

Next day: SHO president is in damage control mode trying to help Floyd duck Manny and save face.

    Which one is it???

Hoya and Canelo have moved on and got sick of waiting for the diva. Arum and Pacquiao need to move on also. The other side just don't have the decency to communicate what's going on. I'd be pissed too if I were Arum. These people in the TBE camp have no souls.

He won't because he has 0 legitimate answers why he's not going to take this fight.
But you are suggesting you know but thats not crazy right lol !

Like Ive said all along you are a wet blanket , you want to blame Floyd before anything is said , Im sceptical on whats put out from all sides Im reserved in any judgment and want to wait for an official yay or nay , you dont want to wait because you got it all worked out lol .

            Sho - on PEDs
            Sho - have PPV problems
            Sho - have IRS problem
            Sho - have Espinoza problem
Sho - where is Sho in 96 97 98 when hbo is dominating the airwaves

The calculus is different for Pacquiao; he gets the $25m guarantee, whatever sponsorships that he gets, and he trains and shows up to fight.

Like rational businessmen, Moonves (CBS) and Plepler (HBO) are sitting down somewhere, negotiating the contract term for term, until the TV/PPV rights have been decided.

Once that's out of the way, the rest of the things related to the fight can be squared away (split of the PPV revenue/TV rights, split of the gate, protocol for USADA, which beer sponsor to go with, what gloves to use, who stands in the red corner, whose name is first on the marquee/promotional material, etc).

Of the talked about $300m in revenue, $250m of that is going to be coming from the PPV/TV rights; if that isn't agreed to, the rest of the talk doesn't matter.
I'm pretty certain all the fighter-related terms are agreed in principle even before TV rights and PPV splits (between networks) are negotiated. Network big wigs wouldn't waste their time meeting together. And I'm a firm believer that Floyd & Pac's terms were the most difficult to negotiate...more than the TV. SHO & HBO wouldn't blow their TV deal, especially when the Lewis-Tyson deal is there as a model to amend.

So, what you are essentially saying is that IF Floyd isn't happy with the TV deal, then the fight is off. Then it would be Floyd's fault indeed. Boxing fans will NOT be happy with that! CBS & Time Warner won't be happy with that either.

He is not being truthful about his claims that all has been agreed upon and now they're just waiting on Mayweather to agree. I'm pretty sure that was in the article.

IF its Floyds fault its Floyds fault , IF its not Floyds fault its not Floyds fault .

IF is a word that means nothing and is used way too much to mean something .

before Pac ducking Floyd because he did not agree to all the demands of the A side

Then for the network side of the negotiation - if the negotiation fails who ducks who?
The fight is Mayweather-Pacquiao; the network, in the grand scheme of things, doesn't matter. The fight could be on ABC, ESPN, or the Disney Channel for all heck; it'd still be Mayweather-Pacquiao.

To try and act as if HBO brings any value to the fight, that couldn't be fulfilled by Showtime or some other channel is laughable.
